About Our Club |

We are a friendly, non-competitive,
club for all players of the classical guitar who enjoy making music together. Our meetings provide an excellent opportunity for
members to give short recitals to a friendly audience. We also play some ensemble music and hold occassional short talks or demonstrations on guitar related subjects.
Repertoire
The ensemble music we play covers a wide range
of styles and periods, much of it arranged specifically for the guitar
by club members.
Playing Standards
The club is for Players of all abilities, and inexperienced and new players are especially welcome. The ability to read standard music notation is necessary to join in the ensemble pieces.
Event Hosting and Promotion
Would event organisers please note
that we are a small club and are unable to host recitals or concerts
by other societies or individuals.
We do, however, promote local events on our 'News and Events' page. |
